FORWARD-DEPLOYED DELIVERY / FIVE DECISIONS

We build inside the operating cadence.

We do not hand over a specification and disappear. Our architects work alongside process owners through Fit, Lock, Build, Prove and Launch, with a visible output and decision at every stage.

THE DELIVERY CADENCE

Five decisions move the workflow forward.

Each stage produces something your team can inspect and a decision it must make. Progress is visible; uncertainty does not disappear into a project queue.

  1. 01

    Fit

Identify the trigger, owner, business outcome and constraints. A workflow with unclear authority, unavailable data or an unsuitable risk profile may need review before any implementation offer.

    What you receive
    Workflow brief
    The decision
Is the work repeatable, useful and suitable?
    Your part
Bring the workflow owner and an example.
  2. 02

    Lock

Confirm input and output contracts, included systems, approval rights, exceptions, baseline, exclusions and costs. Changes to that agreement require an explicit scope decision.

    What you receive
    Scope & acceptance record
    The decision
Do we agree what done means?
    Your part
Confirm the scope and a measurable baseline.
  3. 03

    Build

Use customer-controlled accounts, connect only the agreed sources and implement the normal and failure paths. Make draft behaviour visible before a production action is enabled.

    What you receive
    Working implementation
    The decision
Can the agreed path work with approved access?
    Your part
Provide approved access and sample data.
  4. 04

    Prove

Review normal, ambiguous, missing and invalid inputs, unavailable systems and unsafe requests. The workflow owner accepts the agreed cases; a successful build alone is not acceptance.

    What you receive
    Acceptance evidence
    The decision
Does it work when the input is imperfect?
    Your part
Review results and accept the implementation.
  5. 05

    Launch

Agree the release, train users, record ownership and recovery steps, and review the outcome against the baseline. Support and improvements have a defined scope.

    What you receive
    Operating handover
    The decision
Can the team run and recover it?
    Your part
Name the owner and join the handover.

WHAT WORKING TOGETHER LOOKS LIKE

Close to the work from first evidence to handover.

AIFAB works with the people who know the process, the systems and the consequences. The implementation stays small enough to understand and serious enough to operate.

Illustrated workflow triage workshop where three professional roles examine process evidence, volume, risk and next steps.

FIT + LOCK

Bring the work, not a technology brief.

We start with a real example, realistic volume and the person accountable for the process. Together we define the boundary before discussing a build.

  • One process owner and a representative example
  • Included systems, exceptions and decision authority
  • A measurable baseline and written acceptance criteria
Illustrated architect, process owner and system specialist working together on a bounded workflow and acceptance criteria.

BUILD + PROVE

Build beside the people who know it.

Draft behaviour is visible before an external action is enabled. We test the expected path and the moments where data, instructions or systems fail.

  • Customer-approved access and sample data
  • Visible drafts before consequential actions
  • Normal, ambiguous, invalid and unavailable cases
Illustrated workflow owner reviewing completed work, exception handling and a visible pause-to-manual path.

LAUNCH + OPERATE

Launch with an owner and a manual path.

The team knows who decides, how to pause new automated work and how to continue manually. Training, recovery and improvement are explicit parts of handover.

  • Named owner and authorised approval path
  • Customer-held pause and documented manual fallback
  • Versioned handover, training and recovery instructions

TIMING & DEPENDENCIES

A focused window with a clear starting line.

A Workflow Launch is normally a focused 10–15 business-day delivery window after scope, access and sample data are ready. AIFAB joins the agreed team cadence rather than operating as an anonymous ticket queue. Customer review, procurement and security approval can still affect elapsed time.

OWNERSHIP & HANDOVER

The work stays with your team.

A launch is complete only when the accountable team can understand the workflow, make its decisions and follow the recovery path.

  • The agreed implementation and versioned configuration

  • Acceptance evidence and known limitations
  • Operating, escalation and recovery instructions
  • User training and an outcome-review plan

ONE WORKFLOW IS ENOUGH TO START

LET’S MAKE IT WORK.

Show us the
repetitive workflow.

In a short fit call, we can usually determine whether the workflow is suitable, what systems are involved and whether a fixed-scope implementation is realistic.

What happens next

  1. We review the workflow.
  2. We reply within one business day.
  3. We hold a 45-minute Workflow Triage Clinic.
  4. If the work is complex, the next step may be a Workflow Blueprint before any implementation proposal.

Bring one repetitive task, its owner, the systems involved and an approximate monthly volume. An anonymised example is enough. NDA available before sensitive discussions.
